I’d always wanted to photograph a wedding at the amazing Detroit Institute of the Arts ( D.I.A ), so when Cynthia and Kenneth contacted me, I was overjoyed at the chance! The happy couple was more than willing to enjoy going all over the museum (as much as we were allowed to after-hours) and take some memorable photos, even braving the cold January night for some outside!
In the end, it as all about them, two people in love, getting married in the gorgeous Rivera Court and enjoying an intimate reception in the Kresge Courtyard, complete with ipad slideshows, polaroid photo guestbook, and even a caricature portrait artist! It was a night to remember for sure!
